About Us
Thursday League
The Thursday League is a competitive league of 8 teams that play every Thursday, with games starting at either 8 am or 8:30 am (depending on the time of the year) and ending around 2:00 or 2:30 pm.
There are some safety requirements that need to be passed in order to be in this league, but any resident who qualifies will be included in the league draft.
The league starts on the first Thursday in November and continues play every Thursday through late March, excluding holiday weeks. As an added bonus, some weeks have games on Tuesdays as well. It is desired that anyone playing in this league be available to play most of the games during the season. One or two planned absences here and there are acceptable.
Double A League
If a less competitive environment is what you want, our second option is the Double A League which plays on Monday mornings with four teams playing two games each day. The first game starts at 8:00 am, but players arrive at about 7:30 for stretching and warming up. The second game starts at the conclusion of the first, generally about 9:30. This league welcomes all levels in a very fun, relaxed playing environment. Play begins in early November and continues through the end of March.
We also have support positions that need to be filled each year, such as Thursday league announcers, scorekeepers, scoreboard operators, umpires, etc.
In addition to the camaraderie of playing softball, club members enjoy many different social events which include the opening season banquet, Member Appreciation day and all star game, annual CANAM game, and team party.
